A collection of stunning talent, some of the best voices of the 20th Century, but I’m not sure that the Jazz in the title is strictly adhered to. Nevertheless, where else could you find the sheer gold of Sinatra, Martin, Brubeck, Armstrong et al, all for under a fiver?
  • Hot selection

As previously mentioned not really a Jazz album BUY what a collection of "show jazz or swing" classics. Loved that "You must remember this track" had the film dialog intro - so rare to hear. Really great value for wonderful munis.
  • Misleading title, great music

The title is misleading in the sense that the music in question has nothing to do with Jazz. This is instead the most complete selection of the most famous interpretations of some of the most famous songs of the 1950-60s - and arguably the best. They are all here: Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, etc. with large orchestras, strings, pianos, etc. But I would personally call this "easy listening" rather than "jazz". Anyway, if you must have only one, essential record of such music, this is it. No doubt about it.
